Why most camps change nothing

A hard week is not the same as a faster swimmer

Most training camps are built around filling a pool, not around one swimmer getting faster. That difference shows up in September, not in August.

The usual camp

  • Twenty or more swimmers sharing two lanes, so half the session is waiting
  • One group, one programme, regardless of level
  • Feedback you have to remember, because nothing is written down
  • The week ends and everyone goes back to their old routine
  • No measurement, so no proof it worked

This camp

  • Four lanes for 16 swimmers: three to four per lane, so you swim instead of queue
  • Places allocated on selection, so the level of the group actually fits
  • A written report per swimmer, with concrete action points
  • Eight weeks of follow-up with a personal plan and two video consultations
  • Personal bests measured before and after, so progress is on the clock
What you get

Everything included, nothing to add at the till

No stripped-down base price with paid upgrades. The analysis, the kit, the water park and the follow-up are in the price, because a camp where the best parts cost extra is not a high-end camp.

Your price, Residential
camp and hotel, all in
€2,145

These are the prices you would pay for each part separately. The water park figure is the gate price: entry 40, fast pass 70 and a meal 20. We buy in as a group, which is exactly why it is included rather than charged on top.

What is different

Five things you will not find at a standard camp

01

Four lanes, 16 swimmers

Four per lane instead of eight. You get the metres in, and the coach can actually see you swim.

02

Force, not just feel

EO SWIMBETTER measures what each hand actually delivers on your front crawl. Included, not a paid upgrade.

03

Eight weeks after

A personal plan and two video consultations once you are home. The week is the start, not the whole product.

04

Progress on the clock

Personal bests recorded before camp and measured again afterwards. Either it worked or it did not, and you will know.

05

Selection, not sign-up order

We check the level before you book. That protects the group, and it protects your week.

Day by day

How the week runs

Monday

Arrival, room allocation and a first session in the water to get to know the group. Individual intake: goals, personal bests and technical focus points on the table.

Tuesday to Friday

Two water sessions a day with dryland in between. Each day underwater footage of a different element: stroke, start, turn, finish. Seminar or recovery in the afternoon.

Saturday

Water park day, everything included. Active recovery is part of the programme, not an afterthought.

Sunday

Closing session at race pace, written report per swimmer and the appointment for the first video consultation. Departure afterwards.

Where you stay

Torremolinos, Spain

A maximum of two swimmers per room, food and drink included, and meals timed around the training sessions instead of around a buffet schedule. We drive between the hotel and the pool: after two hours of training, nobody walks back in the August sun. We will confirm the final choice of hotel as soon as the quotes for August 2027 are in.

Questions

Before you book

Who is this camp for?

Competitive swimmers aged 12 to 18 competing at national level. Places are allocated on selection, not on a first-come basis: we check the level of the group in advance so everyone can train at their own pace.

What if the camp does not go ahead?

The camp runs from 9 participants. If we do not reach that number you receive the full camp fee back, or you move to another camp. That is set out in our terms and conditions, article 6.2.

Can I cancel?

Up to 90 days before departure you get the camp fee back minus 100 euros in administration costs. After that there is no refund of the camp fee. At any point before departure you can instead convert the full camp fee into credit for another camp, valid for 18 months from the cancellation. Booked extras such as flights and accommodation are non-refundable.

How do I get there?

You fly to Málaga (AGP) yourself; the hotel is roughly 20 minutes from the airport. A guided group flight with transfer will be added later as a separate option. On location we arrange all transport between hotel and pool.

What is the difference between Day Camp and Residential?

With Residential you stay with the group at the hotel, eat and drink with them and have 24/7 supervision. With Day Camp you only join the training programme and arrange your own stay and meals. Do the maths: Day Camp with all meals added ends up close to Residential, and you would still be sleeping somewhere else.

Do I have to pay everything at once?

No. During checkout you choose between paying in full or spreading it across instalments up to the start of the camp. Still deciding? You can hold your place for 10 days for €195, fully deducted from the camp fee.
